On Saturday, June 5th, 2010, from 12:30 to 5pm, come to the Monterey Fairgrounds for the greatest assortment of Beer ever assembled on the Central Coast. Sample varied styles of Ales, Lagers & Ciders from over seventy (70+) breweries with hundreds of beers to taste. On hand will be the best of beer from around the world, including America, Belgium, Germany, England, France, Australia, Thailand, Italy, Asia, Ireland, Jamaica & California.

As an addition to this years’ beer festival, we are introducing;

Short Pour Film Fest

This “first ever” Film Fest on the subject of Beer will take place during the Beer Festival on June 5th, 2010. The film fest event is free of charge to MBF ticket holders.

Short Films from around the world will be judged (prior to the event) and the best entries will show on a large screen in the King City Building at the Monterey Fairgrounds. The films are 3 minutes in length or less and on the subject of BEER .

Short Pour Festival

Categories include, general short films (live action & animation), commercials and music videos.

BREW FEST TICKETS
On-Line Tickets will be available for purchase after January 15th, 2010

If you purchase on-line tickets before May 15th, 2010 those tickets will be mailed to you.

*On-Line Tickets purchased after May 15th will be available for Pick Up either*

FRIDAY JUNE 4TH from 1Oam to 4pm at GATE 5 at the Monterey Fairgrounds

and

Saturday June 5th (the day of the event) starting at 8am - Gate 5 at the MONTEREY FAIRGROUNDS

*Pre sale tickets can be purchase at ticket locations around the Monterey area for $35 (presale). Local Ticket Locations(TBD) start selling ticket on April 1st, 2010 and will stop selling Tickets on Friday, June 4th at 5pm. Get your tickets early. Try to bring exact change to the ticket locations. Local checks will be accepted with valid I.D.

*If tickets are still available the day of the event, they can be purchased at Gate 5 for $40. For ticket availability, call 831-373-2843.

Pre sale tickets can also be purchased for $35 on Friday June 4th from 10am to 4pm at Gate 5 at the Monterey Fairgrounds if available.

Regular Priced tickets can be purchased for $40 on Saturday June 6th after 8am at Gate 5 at the Monterey Fairgrounds.

FESTIVAL LOCATION
The Monterey Beer Festival is located at the Monterey Fairgrounds, home to such greats as the Monterey Jazz Festival, Monterey Blues Festival, Monterey County Fair and others. Directions can be found at http://www.montereycountyfair.com/mcf_directions.php

Only people certifiably over the age of 21 will be admitted - no exceptions.
However, if you have a small child, under age 12, who you'd like to bring along, feel free, there's no charge. No animals or pets allowed. Plenty of parking available.

A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Culinary Center of Monterey. This will be a 501C3 event.
