2010 Monterey Beer Festival
Saturday June 5th
12:30pm to 5pm
Come to the Monterey Fairgrounds for the greatest assortment of Beer ever assembled on the
Central Coast. Sample varied styles of Ales, Lagers & Ciders from over eighty (80+) breweries with hundreds of beers to taste. On hand will be the best of beer from around the world, including America, Belgium, Germany, England, France, Australia, Thailand, Italy, Asia, Ireland, Russia, Mexico, Jamaica & California. |

As an addition to this years’ beer festival, we are introducing;
Short Pour Film Fest
This “first ever” Film Fest on the subject of Beer will take place during the Beer Festival on June 5th, 2010.
The film fest event is free of charge to MBF ticket holders.
Short Films from around the world will be judged (prior to the event) and the best entries will show on a large screen in the King City Building at the Monterey Fairgrounds. The films are 3 minutes in length or less and on the subject of BEER .

Categories include, general short films (live action & animation), commercials and music videos.
Film submissions are welcome (go to Short Pour Film Fest on this web site for rules and regulations). |

FESTIVAL LOCATION
The Monterey Beer Festival is located at the Monterey Fairgrounds, home to such greats as the Monterey Jazz Festival, Monterey Blues Festival, Monterey County Fair and others. Directions can be found at http://www.montereycountyfair.com/about-us/directions
Only people certifiably over the age of 21 will be admitted - no exceptions.
However, if you have a small child, under age 12, who you'd like to bring along, feel free, there's no charge. No animals or pets allowed.
Plenty of parking available.
A portion of the proceeds will be donated to The Culinary Center of Monterey. This will be a 501C3 event. |
